Yes, I can't vote yet but I think that he's the one who will lead the REAL change.
I seriously admire this man. We need a wake up call, not a lie to keep us dreaming.
Proven and tested: Dick Gordon. :>

What is the real problem in the Philippines?
We are now faced with multiple problems,
along with the ever willful Con-Ass, comes the pandemic A(H1N1), the Reply Bill & Terrorism.
What will prevail? A true sense of justice, the need to serve the Filipino people?
Or extending the governing power/ supremacy OVER the Filipinos?

THE F I V E THINGS
I LOVE TO DO
RANDOMNESS ALERT :| :))
I love writing, and I think one outlet for this skill/ one way to harness this skill is to write songs.
I started writing when I was eight, but most of what I wrote were scrap, so I just keep them away. :/ =))
This is just a hobby though, sort of like a stress reliever for me...
Much like the thousands of people out there who vent their feelings out through composing songs, poems and stories. :)
It also helps increase your vocabulary! =))
WATCH STAGE PLAYS
I've long been gone on stage,
but I love being part of the audience & being the one working behind the scenes :)
So far, I've only watched:
Man of La Mancha,
Midsummer Night's Dream,
Much Ado About Nothing,
Disney's Mulan, Jr.
Jack and the Bean Stalk,
Beauty and the Beast,
The Taming of the Shrew,
The Sound of Music,
A Christmas Carol,
Si Pilandok at Ang Bayan ng Bulwagan,
I forgot some plays. =))
Some of these are all thanks to:
Repertory Philippines, Kaleidoscope and the school I attended from Nursery to First Year high school for making us watch plays every year. :> :))
I want to watch:
Location: OnStage 2/F Greenbelt 1, Ayala Center, Makati City
I like to play musical intruments, games and sports.
I think I'm not that musically gifted, but I am pretty decent.
Maybe sometime... When I have the guts to, I'll upload some video of me playing some song/piece I made. :) =)) MAYBE.
I play a lot of games, I just don't know how to enumerate them here without feeling awkward after. =))
I may not look like it, but I can actually play some rough sports. =))
I've never really been very 'girly', so I don't really mind if acquire NONFATAL injuries or I break a nail or two.
But please don't hit me on the head, I might become blind. :| =))
I play decent: | Tennis, Basketball, Golf, Taekwondo, Swimming, Jet Skiing, Volleyball, Arnis |
I'm not definitely not a pro in: | Figure Skating | Soccer | Football | Table Tennis |
How do I say this... Uh, I'm a food enthusiast, much like my sister: Ate Rain
READ/RESEARCH & MAKE
News, books and random things. :)
It's weird, but I used to detest researching so much.
Actually, I still do, but that's just when I'm lazy, but once I get started, no one can stop me. Mwahahaha. =)) Kidding.
No, seriously, I seem to have developed a liking to going to really old libraries & reading (old) books or different sites & websites to do some scavenging. =)) What a word. :))
Finally, I like to make things. Both tangible & intangible things. =)))
I like going to hotels and staying there with my family & friends. :>
Even when I wasn't conceived yet, my family has already been occasional guests at hotels.
Most of the time, our stays are due to conventions, vacations and special events (i.e. Prom, etc.).
To date (+ as long as I remember. HAHA), we've been to more than 42 hotels in the country (excluding the inns in provinces-ROADTRIP! :>)
Some of these hotels are:
Hyatt, Manila Peninsula/ Pen Man, Manila Hotel, Marriott, Bellevue, Crowne Plaza, Crown Regency, Renaissance, Oakwood, New World Hotel, Heritage, Dusit Thani, Intercontinental Hotel, Shangri-La Hotels, Sofitel Philip. Plaza, Century Park, Discovery Suites, Traders, Diamond, Pan Pacific & etc :)
The reason why I like staying in hotels is not because of the comfort it gives, because your home will give you all the "comfort" you need, but because I get to interact and observe all kinds of people, see events and things not often found in the confines of our home, our school, the mall, or work.
I can say that it's exciting to be in hotels where different people abound. =))

I saw a post from this chauvinistic pig from my school and he was basically judging girls who wear short skirts. There have been a lot of posts of this kind actually, so I wanted to share this poem I read in high school about short skirts that gave me a new perspective on how I see short skirts (or anything deemed 'revealing' in general). I never really wore mini skirts when I was in high school, I was conservative and I was also afraid of being judged but when i read this poem, I didn't care about it anymore. Society is progressing, more countries are being open to fashion, so why can't we take part in it? As long as we protect our privates, why does it really matter? Does my short skirt have anything to do with my self-respect and my self-worth? I don't think so.
MY SHORT SKIRT
It is not an invitation a provocation an indication that I want it or give it or that I hook.
My short skirt is not begging for it it does not want you to rip it off me or pull it down.
My short skirt is not a legal reason for raping me although it has been before it will not hold up in the new court.
My short skirt, believe it or not has nothing to do with you.
My short skirt is about discovering the power of my lower calves about cool autumn air traveling up my inner thighs about allowing everything I see or pass or feel to live inside.
My short skirt is not proof that I am stupid or undecided or a malleable little girl.
My short skirt is my defiance I will not let you make me afraid My short skirt is not showing off this is who I am before you made me cover it or tone it down. Get used to it.
My short skirt is happiness I can feel myself on the ground. I am here. I am hot.
My short skirt is a liberation flag in the women's army I declare these streets, any streets my vagina's country.
My short skirt is turquoise water with swimming colored fish a summer festival in the starry dark a bird calling a train arriving in a foreign town my short skirt is a wild spin a full breath a tango dip my short skirt is initiation appreciation excitation.
But mainly my short skirt and everything under it is Mine. Mine. Mine.

There are times when I feel like I have been beaten down by heartbreaking, gut wrenching, spirit breaking, and mind numbing experiences, but then today, I saw a quote by Eric Hoffer (THANK YOU Quotes™) and he said, "The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings". I am reminded of how it is so easy to get blinded by our own suffering and lives (and of how there are so many people who do not need to hear how bad my day has been because they 1. Might have it worse or 2. Just don't want to hear it haha). I am reminded that I haven't exactly lived what has to be lived and that there is more to life than just my woes and myself. Today, as many others have, I've turned 20! THE BIG 2-0!!! WOW!!! INTENSE (or not idk idc)! I am left to ponder about how I've been living my life in the last two decades, who I am now and what I will do and become in the future. I have many things to be thankful for: The presence of a God who looks after me, a family that genuinely loves and supports me, and friends who continue to grow with me. I guess, with this, one of the many steps I have to take after entering this kind of "age" is to impart a life full of blessings. I am lacking in so many ways, but with the realisation that I have to celebrate each year God has given me to live, I think that I have to carry these things with me and simply live a life that has been lived well-- one that I will not be ashamed of. 20 years!!! I have lived-- just a bit! Haha!
SORRY FOR THE CLICHE MANDATORY STATUS ON MY BIRTHDAY HEHEHE BUT I WOULD'VE POSTED IT NONETHELESS
PS Thank you for the messages, videos, photos and food!!!! PPS SPECIALLY THE FOOD!!!
Kythe has an event called Be Brave Get Shaved where people get to shave their heads in solidarity with the cancer patients/ kids. This year, Kythe has an event for the girls called Hair2Share. H2S is the event for those who wish to be in solidarity with the kids but aren't ready to shave their hair off just yet. This doesn't just stop with chopping off a few inches of your hair, it has to be at least 8 inches else you can't donate it and make it into a wig. A few days before, I decided that I would wait until my hair becomes "donate-able" (nice and black again), I was also planning to shave it off but I was still so hesitant about it.
Thursday (February 14) came and I decided that instead of immersing myself in mushy things (lol) or the Anti-Valentines Movement (not really for it), I would show my love by donating my hair instead. :)
SO TADA!!!! This was me yesterday haha! I took this photo with my iPad (explains the low quality-ness of it all). I'm still not used to it but I feel much lighter now. :) Also, it is significant to note that this is the first haircut I'm really happy about! HAHAHA!
That's basically it for now,... Excuse me while I wallow in my school and org work! Haha!
